Medical Internship in Nepal

I would describe my medical internship with Kathmandu Summit Adventure as one of the most fascinating, varied, daring, and life-changing experiences. I flew into Kathmandu, not knowing what to anticipate. Still, the aroma of Asia welcomed me, and I was excited to get started. In addition to visiting temples and Kathmandu Summit Adventure initiatives in Kathmandu, I picked up a few phrases in Nepali. I was able to meet new people, get settled in, and find out about possible volunteer opportunities thanks to this.

When my internship in Kathmandu started, I was made to feel extremely welcome by the medical professionals, who used my daily observation in the outpatient department to teach me about illnesses, their diagnoses, and treatments. It occurred to me that something was lacking. I asked Kathmandu Summit Adventure whether it would be feasible to combine my internship with school volunteer work because I want to work with children in the future. This posed no issue, and the following week, with the assistance of Kathmandu Summit Adventure personnel, I conducted a medical health camp and provided CPR instruction.
