A Group of Youths in Our Summer Program
Nepal, the land of splendid nature and rich culture is waiting for your exploration through its different facets. Volunteer World Nepal tour gives you an opportunity to explore three different regions of the country, varying from the cultural hub teemed with fascinating ancient buildings like Kathmandu, to the breathtaking scenery of Annapurna Range Pokhara, and the vast, fertile forest like Chitwan National Park in Terai region.
A group of 15 youth from the Netherlands took part in our summer Nepal experience program. It began the tour in Nepal with our fabulous 3 week in Kathmandu, volunteering at a school, Chitwan and Pokhara Tour and volunteering which combined natural, cultural, and wildlife experiences. Stroll in the medieval streets of Kathmandu full of architectural wonders, make a boat ride in a Himalayan lake or a canoe trip in the dense sub-tropical jungle, or learn to follow the wild lives in their natural habitat – we’ve combined everything that they were wishing to squeeze out in their a short Nepal Tour.
Even if their wildest dream was to watch marsh crocodiles sunbathing or they felt like bathing with an elephant in a jungle river – we made it happen in reality. We started the tour from Kathmandu Valley, with its UNESCO World Heritage Site cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. Then we drove to Chitwan Jungle to discover why the National Park holds an important place in preserving the wild lives that are rapidly becoming extinct from this planet. From Chitwan, we continued our journey to the fantastic Lake City of Pokhara. The trip encompassed some of the most spectacular natural, cultural, and wildlife splendours of Nepal as well as provided an opportunity to mingle with local people with their ethnic lifestyles.
The three weeks Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara Tour and volunteering have been designed for those visiting Nepal seeking a combination of cultural, natural, jungle/wildlife and community service exposure during their trip. Depending on the time you can spend on your Nepal trip.
