Umesh Shrestha is from Sindhuli district in South Eastern Nepal and holds a degree in computer science from Sikkim Manipal University. With his proficiency in computer science, he undertakes several crucial responsibilities and professional duties, Umesh manages email correspondence, customizes programs, updates social media accounts, manages volunteers’ and interns’ placement, designs and updates the organization’s website, and maintains communication and relation with the local organizations.
Umesh is not only proficient in technical skills but also has been sharing his knowledge with students at school for an extended period. He has been a computer science teacher, contributing to the development of young minds and preparing them for the digital age. Many appreciate his teaching style, and his efforts have been instrumental in shaping the future of numerous students. Umesh is passionate about educating the next generation of computer scientists and making technology accessible to all.
Himal Shrestha:
Himal is the Head of Nepali Language and Cultural Training for international travellers and volunteers. He has been working as the Head of Language and Cultural Training for Volunteer World Nepal and Venture Nepal Trekking for over five years. Himal’s main responsibility is to ensure the smooth running of Nepali language and cultural classes.
Sahil Shrestha:
Sahil is a passionate individual from Nepal, specifically from Salleri, which is renowned for its diverse population and rich cultural heritage. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Technology and started working as a teacher. In 2015, he transitioned to the tourism industry, and he joined Volunteer World Nepal. He has the ability to conduct in-depth research on the locations he takes his clients to and compile relevant data ahead of time. Sahil has extensive knowledge of the places he travels to with his clients and is extremely enthusiastic about cultural excursions.
Kumar Rai:
Kumar Rai is a trekking expert from Volunteer World Nepal and Kathmandu Summit Adventure with extensive experience and knowledge of the Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, and Manaslu regions of Nepal. He is known for being a great leader, knowing everything there is to know about the area, and being able to handle difficult situations with ease.
Kumar has been a trekking guide for many years and has a lot of experience in the field. Even though Kumar is a new candidate in Volunteer World Nepal and Kathmandu Summit Adventure, his strong performance has already made a big impression. He is very reliable, always on time, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure his clients have a fun and memorable trek.
