Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the website. By accessing Kathmandu Summit Adventure’s services, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. Your use of this website indicates your acceptance of these terms. We urge you to review the terms and conditions thoroughly before proceeding.

Your access to and use of this website is conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with these terms. These terms and conditions apply to everyone, including but not limited to visitors, users and others who wish to access and use the website.

Our program offers and pricing:

We provide services on this website at a listed price, which includes all taxes and fees.

Program fees:

Our program fee details are mentioned in our website program fee. You will find the complete program costs on each program page on the website. Kathmandu Summit Adventure reserves the right to change the program fee at any time without any prior information.

Travel:

Kathmandu Summit Adventure does not arrange flights or make any travel arrangements to your program location. It is your own responsibility to arrange your own airfare and travel to the program location. Kathmandu Summit Adventure provides advice and pre-departure information to you, it is your responsibility to obtain all necessary travel documents, such as visa etc.

You are responsible for ensuring your travel documents are complete and up to date for your travel. Kathmandu Summit Adventure cannot accept responsibility if entry is denied to a country due to incorrect visa or travel documents.

Program registration:

The volunteers must fill in their details while submitting their registration form. The registration forms and registration fees. The registration fees are non-refundable and should be paid after the volunteer project details are confirmed.

Once volunteers submit their registration form, our coordinators will quickly respond, and you will get a confirmation email after receiving your program registration. Program registration is for Kathmandu Summit Adventure’s staff support, communication and marketing, web cost and arrangement of host family or placement. It is a prior expense, so we are not able to refund it.

Travel insurance:

Travel insurance is compulsory for all participants of Kathmandu Summit Adventure. All participants need to buy full comprehensive medical insurance for their time of stay in our project in Nepal. It is your sole responsibility to purchase your own travel insurance.

Our responsibility to you:

Kathmandu Summit Adventure is committed to delivering travel arrangements that meet our volunteers’ expectations as described in our booking agreements. We take responsibility for ensuring that our coordinators/representatives provide excellent service and that we provide you with all necessary documentation prior to your departure. Our aim is to provide you with the best possible service.

Cancellation policy:

We understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to cancel your purchase of the services offered on our website. Therefore, we offer cancellations up to 30 days before your program start date. Please note that Kathmandu Summit Adventure incurs many charges to provide a suitable program to the volunteers. If you wish to cancel your order, kindly reach out to us, and we will assist you in the process. You can use your program registration fee for future programs.

Program changes by you:

All program participants can make one change to their program and dates at no additional cost before Kathmandu Summit Adventure confirms their placement.

Dates and duration changes:

The volunteers can change their project start date and duration once for free if they inform us a week before the volunteer placement.

Vaccinations and health:

We may offer you a list of suggested immunizations and travel health tips based on such publicly available sources. It is your sole responsibility to arrange and administer any vaccinations/immunizations required to be taken for travel to the country of your program. You are solely responsible for your own welfare, and you accept and acknowledge any and all risks of personal injury or illness, emotional trauma, property damage and death that may occur as a result of you joining one of our programs.

Personal risk:

The volunteers should acknowledge and accept the responsibility and risk of travelling abroad and living in host countries, especially the remote ones. So, Kathmandu Summit Adventure is not liable to the extent of the law for harm or loss the volunteer may suffer; the risks are:

• Personal and emotional injury
• Illness or disease
• Loss and damage to property
• War and terrorism
• Hostage situation

Drug and alcohol:

The Volunteer must follow the rule made by Kathmandu Summit Adventure regarding alcohol consumption. Drug use (unless prescribed by a doctor) is strictly prohibited and will result in instant dismissal from the program with no refund.

Child policy:

Volunteers below 18 will be counted under the child group. These volunteers can do the volunteering under the guidance of their parents and one who can take responsibility.

Required documentation:

Volunteers have to submit a photocopy of their passport, a photocopy of the academic certificate (for medical volunteer/intern), two passport-size photos and their resume after arrival at Kathmandu Summit Adventure head office in Kathmandu. As we have mentioned, the document must be valid and certified.

Change to terms and conditions:

We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. We will notify you immediately of making any changes to these terms of service via by posting the updated terms of service to this website.
